Massage is very useful for managing stress. A single massage is like a mini-vacation from physical, emotional and mental stress. Having regular massages is even more beneficial.
Linda Bloedau, MS, LMBT, is the massage therapist on staff at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. She graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy and is licensed in the State of North Carolina, and nationally certified in massage and bodywork. She is a certified practitioner of WATSU, (Water Shiatsu) and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
