Student Services and Guidance

A health-screening program, provided by WRMC, will be required annually. This may include vision, hearing and blood pressure evaluations, back assessment, as well as selected laboratory screening tests, and drug testing.

Students, voluntarily participating in the Work/Study/Scholarship Program, who are considered part-time employees, will be provided with health care services the same as provided for scheduled part-time hospital employees. (See WRMC's Personnel Manual)

Members of the staff of the Radiologic Technology Program are available to provide a counseling service to those students who request guidance in education and vocation. Other counseling may be obtained by contacting one of the medical staff, or local counseling services.

If the student is participating in the Work/Study/Scholarship Program for the WRMC Radiologic Technology Program, qualifying to be considered a part-time employee, counseling may be obtained through Human Resources guidance for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) @ 1-800-950-3434 (institutional counseling program).
