WRMC Educational Services provides employees with classes and information to help maintain competency and compliance with regulatory agencies. Classes are held for new employees every two weeks and current employees attend scheduled classes throughout the year. Classes include topics such as:

- Safety topics
- New product and equipment training
- Age appropriate care of patients
- Nursing Orientation
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support

WRMC Educational Services is an Approved Provider of continuing nursing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approved Provider recognition enables the nurses to receive continuing education credit for courses that meet national standards set by the American Nurses' Association. www.ncnurses.org
Educational Services also maintains an up-to-date medical library for physicians and healthcare personnel. A contract with Northwest Area Health Education provides additional extensive library services through interlibrary loans, access to multiple journals and literature searches for the latest information on medical conditions.
