| Wilkes Regional Medical Center offers a work/study/scholarship program that is available to those students who voluntarily agree to become part-time employees. |
WRMC offers a work/study/scholarship program providing opportunities to earn monies to help defray expenses. This is available to those students who voluntarily agree to become part-time employees who work nights and holidays on a rotating basis, up to 10 hours per week. As part-time employees, they are paid an hourly rate, not less than the hourly minimum wage; can purchase insurance; buy meals at employee discounts and can elect to pay tuition and books on a payroll deduction basis.
Should a work/study/scholarship participant leave the program, voluntarily or involuntarily, the student; or if under 18, their parent, guardian, or surety: shall be responsible for all accrued debts.
