Approximately one in every ten men will develop prostate cancer by the age of 85. painful swelling of the legs can be a side effect of treatment for these patients.
Lymph is a thick, colorless fluid, which moves slowly through out bodies. Lymph nodes produce white cells that battle infection and clean the lymph fluid, filtering out bacteria and waste before it can reach the blood stream. If the nodes are damaged or removed, the lymph fluid collects and causes chronic inflammation and scar tissue.
