WILKES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER HONORED WITH FOUR STAR INPATIENT SERVICE AWARD
Bonita Springs, Florida June 4th and 5th, 2007. Wilkes Regional Medical Center was named as a 2007 PRC 4-Star Inpatient Service award recipient. Wilkes Regionals' 3rd Medical & Peds Unit and New Beginnings Birthing Center both took home 5-Star Inpatient Service awards. This is the second year that Wilkes Regional Medical Centers New Beginning Birthing Center has been recognized by PRC. All were honored at an awards dinner held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa. Hospital leaders from across the United States gathered here to participate in the 2007 PRC Client Education Conference hosted by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. PRC is a nationally-known healthcare marketing research company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
This inpatient service research is conducted to obtain the opinions of the patients at Wilkes Regional Medical Center via telephone for a confidential interview to assess their perceptions of patient care. The research findings are then presented to the hospital or health facility to use in continuous improvement and enhancement of patient satisfaction.
